This workshop is designed for teachers who - have an approval to use the active participation format in 2025-26. - are curious about this exam (and teaching) format and if it was suitable to their courses. - want to know more about how they can implement feedback activities in their Active Participation courses. The workshop is relevant to all career levels. |

This workshop introduces active participation as an exam format, providing practical insights and outlining official guidelines for its implementation. In this workshop, you will: - Explore the principles of active participation as an exam format and examples of its application at CBS. - Learn about different types of feedback and their potential to enhance student learning within this format. - Discuss advantages and disadvantages of using grade-free assessment, as well as its impact on student study habits and motivation. - Reflect on the main challenges and benefits of implementing active participation in your course.
