Intended learning outcomes
To support faculty in navigating these changes, EDQ is organizing this workshop to help participants:
- Interpret the CBS guidelines on Generative AI and determine their implications for their courses.
- Evaluate whether the course descriptions, learning objectives, and assessment methods remain valid with AI use.
- Outline assessment strategies that ensure student contributions remain distinguishable from AI-generated content.
- Apply fair and transparent evaluation methods that maintain academic integrity.
Workload: 2 hours
Preparation: Identify one or more course descriptions of which you are responsible, consider whether the exam format is vulnerable in a situation where students are using GenAI to generate responses. Bring the course description to the workshop (link or printout x 2 copies).
